Amazon Fire Stick

Does anyone have one of these? If so, can you get 4OD and ITVplayer on it? It only seems to have BBC iPlayer and Channel 5 catch up on it according to Amazon's list.
Is it any good?

You can get side loaded apps on there.
Not out in the UK for another week or so, I've got one coming in so will tell you.

4OD and ITV player aren't always available as some providers have exclusivity agreements.
That doesn't stop some geeks making a version you can push on easily via laptop.

If it's as good as the AFTV then it'll be excellent. I'm watching Villa QPR on mine now in HD.

I've got the stick been very lazy and not used it mind.
Will get on to it and report back. I'm looking for a new Kodi build anyway as the one I've got has gone GASH.

I got one and sideloaded kodi onto it with a droidsticks wizard and login details

Tripe...how do you do that mate, I`ve got droidsticks boxes and managed to get it onto my tablets and phone, but when I chuck kodi over from tablet fully loaded with agk fire it only transfers the basic kodi, what have I got to do....only had a quick go today so will have a proper think about it tomorrow

Have a look at the totalxbmc community builds.
One of the main blokes who develops for kodi is a hammer so always like to big him up. The username whufclee gives it away.

I've got Fire TV. Very good.
You can get a free app called TV Player which allows you to watch terrestrial channels and a few others.

Got mine turning up tomorrow and will be having a crack at Kodi on it.
Have ITV Player on other Kodi installs so hope it should be good for this

I'm into my tech, but I'm behind on this stuff. I stream regularly from my laptop usually using sopcast or acestream to get games in hd.
But if I buy one of these, it will allow me to (depending on the applications I put on there) stream anything accross the world?
Basically I'm moving soon and begrudge giving all that money to sky. Is it realistic to be able to watch bundesliga, sieira A football etc hassle free when its on from these things?

Also if your android doesnt support the ITV app, you can download the STV (Scottish) app and it'll ask for a scottish postcode. Fake a postcode and away you go.
